The Monk’s Curse

In The Monk’s Curse, Mikhail’s quiet search for his past leads him through snow-bound peaks and forgotten cloisters. Each mystery he uncovers hints at loyalties frayed and a lineage entwined with something older than legend. What he uncovers could upend the world he thought he knew.

Orphaned. Endangered. Possibly kidnapped.

Mikhail could not feel less alone.

His foster parents murdered in bloody succession, his last guardian killed, and Mikhail is spirited away to a mysterious castle. Isolated from the outside world in the stone cold fortress, he begins the search for his truth.

Placing his trust in a mysterious girl and her father, Mikhail must journey, following a series of journals, in search of the truth of his parentage, of the murdered foster parents, and of the organisation which now claims to protect him.

As he traverses snowy mountains, beautiful cities, and dark monasteries, he finds something far more sinister – an age-old curse, and a secret war.

Really enjoyed reading this book – full of history and intrigue. Highly recommend it to anyone…

If you like history/fiction books then you will most likely enjoy this one. The author Rahul Gandhi has done an amazing job pairing together the two. The skill with which he writes is outstanding.
